About Me
Hi, I’m Tiffany …
Tiffany Gaze is a passionate vocalist, musician and composer with First-Class Honours in Jazz Performance from the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Since 2022, Tiffany has performed and produced shows in the Adelaide Fringe. This journey began with ‘Jazz Could Happen to You’ (2022-2025), a show connecting audiences to the genre of jazz. This was followed by sellout ‘Jazz Under the Skies of Paris’ (2024-2025) which brought a diverse program of French-language jazz to Adelaide audiences. In 2025, Tiffany added ‘Jobim: The Boss of Bossa Nova’ to her show roster, an ode to Jobim’s life-long influence on the music scene.
In 2021, Tiffany had the opportunity to learn jazz voice from Jo Lawry, and was introduced to the Estill Voice Method. Jo inspired Tiffany to begin writing her own music, and inject more of her personal music style and individuality into her performances. Tiffany completed the Level 1 and 2 Estill Voice Training course in 2022, expanding her technical vocal control, and worked with Lauren Henderson to dive into the world of storytelling through music. Tiffany met and worked with Jazzmeia Horn during her ‘Artist in Residences’ in 2023 and 2024. Understanding Jazzmeia’s processes for composition and performance was a significant influence on Tiffany’s drive and determination to release her own music. Witnessing the power of music through Jazzmeia and her self-made performance career was inspiring to Tiffany as an emerging performer.
Under the tutelage of Mark Ferguson and Lauren Henderson in her 2024 Honours year, Tiffany realised composition was an integral part of her life as a musician. Tiffany was selected as a COMA Emerging Artist in 2024 for her compositions, and has had the opportunity to present her material at COMA on numerous occasions since. Tiffany relishes the freedom to write her own material with her unique musical voice. In June 2026, Tiffany will launch her debut original album ‘Consequence’, an indie jazz work depicting stories of fate, love, loss and the environment. Her writing integrates meaningful stories and uses the musical stylings that have in turn shaped her journey.
Tiffany’s musical passion extends beyond her work in jazz, including a deep love of classical music. Tiffany has fostered this while singing with the Pilgrim Uniting Church Choir since 2021. Tiffany is also a vocal tutor mentoring the next generation of aspiring singers. Tiffany extended her knowledge in adjacent fields of voice acting and stage performance at the Voice Over Essentials Course and Music Theatre Workshop at NIDA Kensington in January 2025.
Tiffany has always had a passion for people and the environment and volunteers her time where possible. She has been involved with Kickstart for Kids since 2019 helping to make a difference in the community. During her university studies in 2022 and 2023, she was an intern with Head of Jazz, Mark Ferguson, helping to develop the Outreach program and the Jazz Student’s Association. During her internship she coordinated the fundraising for Third Year Recitals, planned components of the ‘Day at the Con’ Open Day event, and assisted with the running of Hal’s Hall with Dr Lyndon Gray. Since completing her university studies, she has a renewed sense of motivation to combine her passions for music and geography within her career. Tiffany is passionate about the power of music to influence social and environmental change, at a time when this could not be more important for the world.
